By downloading, installing, or using FileCanvas ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.

2. License

FileCanvas is open source software released under the MIT License. You may use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and/or sell copies of the Software, subject to the conditions of the MIT License.

3. Description of Service

FileCanvas provides a visual workspace desktop application for organizing files, notes, and connections on an infinite canvas. The Software operates entirely locally on your device.

4. Data & Privacy

FileCanvas stores all data locally on your device using SQLite. We do not collect, transmit, or store your data on our servers. Your files and content remain entirely under your control.

5. Updates

The Software includes an auto-update feature that downloads new versions from GitHub Releases. You may disable this feature in the application settings.
